    Untangle the Mess.

Your marketing systems, operations, and tech stack should work together. Usually they don't. I fix that and build a plan that actually makes sense for your business.

Sit down with me in Central Minnesota. I'll look at what you have, figure out what's broken, and map what comes next.

Maybe it's cleaning up your existing systems. Maybe it's time to consider AI - what it actually is, whether it makes sense for you, and what's even possible. Maybe it's something else entirely.

No dumb questions. You know your business. I handle the technology.

  • Make the Machine Do the Heavy Lifting

    1. The "Under the Hood" Inspection

    Measure twice. Cut once.

You wouldn't remodel a factory without checking the foundation first. I start with a fixed-fee technical audit - sit down with you, inventory your software, map your manual workflows, and find where you're bleeding time or money.
You get a clear diagnosis before we ever talk about a prescription.
    2. The Scope of Work

Fixed price. Defined outcome. No surprises.

I don't bill for "busyness." I execute a defined plan. We agree on a clear Scope of Work with a fixed project fee - whether it's cleaning up your CRM or building an AI automation. I build it, test it, and install it into your business.

When it's done, you own the asset, not a subscription to my time.

    3. System Stewardship

    Protecting your investment.

Software isn't "set it and forget it." APIs break, security risks evolve, and platforms update. Ignore the machine and it will eventually seize up. I offer a flat-rate Stewardship package to handle the updates, monitor the integrations, and keep the system running. I watch it so you don't have to.

    Big-Picture Experience. Local Commitment.

I'm Joe Burbach. For the past 25 years, I've worked where business and technology meet. I've built tools, fixed systems, and helped teams make better decisions with less waste.

I've lived in Minnesota my whole life and moved to Stearns County during the pandemic. My wife grew up in St. Martin, and over time this place has become home.

My background is varied. I've led digital strategy for consumer brands, helped manufacturers compete globally, and worked with healthcare systems and Fortune 500 companies on technology rollout. I also know what it takes to build something from nothing - I founded PTRx, a digital healthcare platform that grew to serve 375,000 patients before being acquired.

That range of experience taught me something: the size of the organization matters far less than the type of people you're working with. The best projects have true partners - thinkers invested in results, not corporate politics or what some C-level executive happens to prefer this quarter.

When I sold PTRx, it opened up opportunities for change. We moved to Central Minnesota for a different quality of life - not slower, but more intentional. Less time in traffic, more time being productive. Since arriving, I've gotten involved with the community foundation, joined the lake association board, and started writing a column for the local paper.

It stands to reason that the businesses here - many founded by industrious individuals, many still family-owned - would be the right environment to bring my experience. Central Minnesota is full of people who make tangible things, who stand by their work, and who care more about results than optics.

That's where I want to work. And that's why I started Burbach Technology.
